The Honest Rabbit
One day, a little rabbit was hopping in the forest. He was very hungry. Soon he saw a basket full of carrots near a tree. The rabbit was happy. Carrots were his favorite food! But the basket was not his. It belonged to a farmer. The rabbit thought, “If I take these carrots, the farmer will be sad.” So he did not eat them. He waited near the basket. After some time, the farmer came. He saw the rabbit sitting near the carrots. The farmer smiled and said, “Thank you for being honest.” The farmer gave the rabbit two carrots. The rabbit happily ate the carrots and hopped back home.
